How Piya handles information

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Who we are

Piya is a customer relationship, campaign, loyalty, and communication workspace operated by Think Intelligent Technologies LTD. You can reach us at support@piya.store.

Information we collect

We collect the information needed to create accounts, operate Piya, provide support, and protect the service. This may include:

  • Account details such as name, email, phone number, and role.
  • Business profile details such as business name, locations, and channels.
  • Customer records added by a business, including names, contact details, tags, dates, preferences, and message history.
  • Campaign, offer, loyalty, product, service, and communication settings.
  • Support messages and basic technical information such as device, browser, log, and security data.

How we use information

We use information to provide the Piya service, manage business accounts, process customer communication workflows, deliver support, improve reliability, prevent misuse, secure accounts, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.

Google Calendar data

If a business connects Google Calendar, Piya uses Google APIs only to provide calendar features that are visible in the Piya product. Piya may access the connected Google account email, OAuth tokens, granted scopes, calendar list details such as calendar names, IDs, time zones, descriptions, access roles, and primary-calendar status, free/busy time blocks for selected calendars, and event details needed to create, update, or delete bookings and related business events.

Piya uses this Google Calendar data to let businesses choose a primary calendar, check availability, prevent double bookings, create calendar events for appointments or bookings, update those events, delete those events when needed, and show the connection status inside Piya. Piya does not use Google Calendar data for advertising, retargeting, lending or credit decisions, selling data, or unrelated profiling.

Customer contact data

Businesses control the customer data they add to Piya. Each business is responsible for having the right permission or lawful basis to store customer details and contact customers through WhatsApp, email, SMS, the customer app, or any other connected channel.

Sharing information

We may share information with service providers that help us host the product, deliver messages, process payments, provide support, monitor reliability, or protect the service. We may also share information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect users, customers, Piya, or the public.

We do not sell Google user data or transfer it to advertising platforms, data brokers, information resellers, or third parties for unrelated purposes. Google user data is shared only with service providers that help us provide or improve Piya's user-facing features, support security, comply with law, or operate the service with the user's consent.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Piya, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee complete security.

Google OAuth tokens and calendar connection records are retained while the Google Calendar integration remains connected or while needed for security, legal, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes. When a user disconnects Google Calendar or requests deletion, Piya revokes access where supported, stops using the connection, and deletes or anonymizes related Google Calendar data unless retention is required by law or legitimate security needs.

Google API Limited Use

Piya's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Piya does not use raw, aggregated, anonymized, or derived Google Workspace API data to train or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and we do not transfer Google Workspace API data to third-party AI services for their model training.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, update, export, restrict, or delete personal information where those rights apply. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where required for legal, security, or legitimate business reasons.

Updates

We may update this policy as Piya changes. If an update is material, we will take reasonable steps to let users know through the product, website, or email.
